Hello, and welcome to the Bohemian Ceremonies website, thanks for stopping by.

I am Emma and I am an award winning Independent Celebrant. I am based in Hertfordshire but my work takes me all over the UK.

I hold the NOCN celebrancy qualification in funerals, couples and naming ceremonies, this is the highest award achievable. So rest assured your ceremony is in a very safe pair of hands.

I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants, which is the leading organisation in the UK for celebrants.

I like to think of myself as a storyteller, where all of my tales have a happy ending.

From the very start, I make a point of really getting to know you. I can then weave your story into your perfect meaningful ceremony that you, your family and friends will hold dear forever.

Wedding Ceremony

'For some time my husband and I have been wanting to celebrate our wedding, which we had just after lockdown. It was really small because we could only have a few family members there. We decided that this year was the year and omg we did not regret it. We wanted it to be big and bold, like many of our friends! Emma was fantastic, she so delivered. The ceremony was fantastic. When we asked if one our friends could perform a song for us, Emma worked out with us the best place to put it in. My friend is a drag queen hence why we thought there might be a problem. Emma's tag line is 'Ceremonies your way', well ours truly was.'

'What can I say, we had a blast. The naming ceremony Emma wrote for a little girl Aria, was beautiful. We had all of the elements that we asked for and a couple which we hadn't even thought of which Emma suggested. There were lots of other children there and it was a bit chaotic at times, but Emma had such a laid-back approach to the children it was really fun. Honestly, if you want to put your ceremony in the hands of a professional then Emma is just that person. Big gold star from us.'
